I am a computer scientist with a background in network protocols, big data, and security. I have a B.S. in Computer Science from MIT, an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, and an M.S. and Ph.D. from the MIT Media Laboratory. I am the co-founder of the real estate analytics startup Astor Square Inc. where we use big data and analytics technologies to find better valuations and more savings for real estate expenses. My previous work as been in financial and security risk analytics at Millennium Partners, Bank of America, and Goldman Sachs. Before that I was a researcher at the National Institute of Standards and Technology and the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory. I teach Introduction to Java and  Application Security at NYU Tandon as well as classes at Columbia University's Applied Analytics program.
